Better Call Saul stars Bob Odenkirk and Patrick Fabian reunite on the SAG-AFTRA picket lines despite the beef between their characters. One year ago, the massively acclaimed Breaking Bad spinoff show came to a dramatic conclusion after six successful seasons on AMC. In Better Call Saul, Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill, a struggling lawyer with a colorful past, has an increasingly adversarial relationship with Fabian’s Howard Hamlin, a polished lawyer and partner at the prestigious law firm Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill.

SAG-AFTRA has been on strike for fair pay since July 14 and recently, Odenkirk and Fabian reunited on the picket lines along with other members of the Better Call Saul cast and crew. Check out the photo below:

The photo was shared on Twitter by Odenkirk and is captioned, “An amazing assemblage of BCS folks.”

What Have Bob Odenkirk & Patrick Fabian Done Since Better Call Saul?

Soon after Better Call Saul ended, Odenkirk returned to AMC with another drama series, Lucky Hank. Based on a novel, the series stars Odenkirk as an English professor at an underfunded college who, while also navigating the chaos in his personal life, toes the line between midlife crisis and full-blown meltdown. Lucky Hank received rave reviews from critics, though with only moderate viewership, it’s unclear if it will be renewed for a second season. Odenkirk also appeared in The Bear season 2’s star-studded episode 6 as Uncle Lee and has garnered some Guest Actor Emmy buzz with his standout performance.

On the other hand, Fabian’s post-Better Call Saul career hasn’t been as fruitful. However, he did appear in a few episodes of the Disney+ series Big Shot and before the actors’ strike, Fabian was cast in an array of independent films like The Way We Speak, The Hereafter, and The Other Zoey. Odenkirk and Fabian won’t be working for the foreseeable future, as SAG-AFTRA is on strike fighting for increased streaming residuals and regulation for the use of artificial intelligence.
