Screen Rant had the opportunity to attend the TCL Chinese Theater Imprint Ceremony for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. These heroes have made their mark for nearly four decades, captivating audiences on pages and on both big and small screens. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem introduced them to a whole new generation while celebrating longtime fans.

In celebration of this new movie and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ long history in pop culture, the Turtles and their creator Kevin Eastman joined some of the biggest Hollywood stars by being immortalized at the TCL Chinese Theater. Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo pressed their handprints into a piece of cement in the shape of a slice of pizza. Kevin Eastman signed his and co-creator Peter Laird’s last names in cement in their own “pizza slice” under the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles logo.

Honoring The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

During the ceremony, Eastman shares some words about his journey with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, from the initial creation all the way to the impact of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. His story proves the importance of following one’s passion and dreams because it is impossible to guess how many people can be touched by it. It was also good news for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem fans, with the best-reviewed animated movie of the year earning a sequel and a Paramount+ series on the way.

The turtles will be further honored with an exclusive turtle-inspired flavor at Yogurtland called “Fr-OOZE” to celebrate the home release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem for a limited time. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem sparked love for the turtles once again because, like the original comics by Eastman, it was created by people who love these characters and are passionate about sharing their stories.
